SPLINTER

Introducing Splinter, a journal designed to feature the creative works of people like you! Splinter offers a blank canvas for our student community to share their talent and self-expressions. Splinter is not about perfection, it is about originality.

We accept prose/short stories, poetry, and art submissions (photography, drawings, paintings, etc.).

Guidelines:

You must be a current student at Monash University. You may submit up to five pieces of work (both written and artistic). Poetry submissions have a limit of 50 lines. Prose submissions should be less than 2,000 words. Art submissions should be accompanied by a description (150 words or less) of your creative process or the meaning behind the work.

Written submissions should be sent as a Microsoft Word document. Art submissions should be in the form of ‘PNG’ or ‘JPEG’ files.

Deadline:

All submissions must be sent through to splinter@sasmonash.com by January 10th.

The Society of Arts Students acknowledges and pays respects to the Elders and Traditional Owners of the land on which Monash University (Clayton) operates, the Bunurong people of the Kulin Nation. This land always was, and always will be, Aboriginal Land.
